Facebook's UCSF Team Gets High Marks in Mind-Reading

Brain Machine Interface Patent Forecast®

April 2, 2020

Reality Labs at UCSF, which is sponsored by Facebook, announced that their Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) project can read data directly from the brain and transcode it into words with just a 3% error rate. Facebook intends to put this into its AR/VR to give users a hands-free immersion. Some have said, even recently, that mind-reading is a long way off.
